Well, this is one that I’ve been holding close to my chest for the past few months. I have been sitting on the organizing committee for the Canadian Marketing AssociationCMA 2006 National Trade Show And Conference. It is taking place from May 15th – 17th in Montreal at the Palais Des Congres.
The theme for the CMA 2006 National Trade Show And Conference is Next. We’ve decided to take a look at what marketers need to know in the coming days, months and years to make them more competitive and knowledgeable.
Along with my own speaking session – which is titled: The Brand Is Flat: How Brand Democratization Is Going To Change Your Business…For The Better – I will be co-handling an intensive session on Marketing For Small Businesses with my marketing buddies, Alan Flint from the CMA and John Swettenham from Canada Post.
My favorite part of helping to organize this huge event has been helping to secure three amazing keynotes that I can’t wait to see.
Joseph Jaffe will be presenting Life After the 30-Second Spot: Energize Your Brand With a Bold Mix of Alternatives to Traditional Advertising, Kevin Roberts will be presenting Emotional Rescue: Winning in the Attraction Economy and Max Lenderman will be presenting Experience the Message: How Experiential Marketing is Changing the Brand World. You can view the other keynotes here: CMA 2006 National Trade Show And Conference Keynote Speakers.
