Future iPads, Samsung's Aggressive Advertising And A Better Calendar App For Your iPhone

Posted by

Every morning at 7:10 am, I am a guest contributor on CHOM 97.7 FM radio broadcasting out of Montreal (home base). It’s not a long segment – about 5 to 10 minutes every week – about everything that is happening in the world of technology and digital media. The good folks at CHOM 97.7 FM are posting these segments weekly to SoundCloud, if you’re interested in hearing more of me blathering away. I’m really excited about this opportunity, because this is the radio station that I grew up on listening to, and it really is a fun treat to be invited to the Mornings Rock with Terry and Heather B. morning show. The segment is called, CTRL ALT Delete with Mitch Joel.

This week we discussed: What the next iPad from Apple might be (we’ll know more tomorrow), how aggressive and powerful the Samsung advertising has become and Calendars 5 – a great alternative calendar app, if you’re not loving the native one from the iOS.

  1. Another calendar app is TEMPO, probably one of the best I’ve seen, only thing its cloud based and you have to login but by far the best iteration in this category, nonetheless calendar 5 is quite capable.

  2. Now onto what I hate about jailbroken devices and what I hate most are
the useless games on the Cydia Store. With most of the word now connected online, systems
are susceptible to a whole world of nasty hacks, viruses, and malware exploits that can clog or kill your system.
Most teenagers and twenty somethings will elect to Hack or Jailbreak a phone since they are tech savvy
or have access to a friend who can find the back door
    hacking methods.

  3. Sometimes it was out to dinner with friends then back to our house for dessert.
Before we move on to how to accomplish these basics, I must point out that if you
cannot do these things, it does not necessarily mean your swing is
incorrect, it may mean that you have not mastered the skills yet.
The home port makes all of the characters practically all the same with the only thing of note being their bandana color and also signature weapon.

  4. You can do everything that is common in comicbooks.
Outside of the ring, gamers can establish intense rivalries
through pre-fight events and trash talk, putting more purpose and
passion behind their every hit. Everyone needs a means to
entertain themselves and draw away from reality.
