PodCamp Toronto 2007 Day Two is well underway.
I’ve already attended a session by the very scary (in the best way possible) Chris Penn from the Financial Aid Podcast called, WinAmpCast And Google Gadget Podcast Kit 1.0, where we learned some new and interesting ways to leverage Google Widgets and WinAmp (which apparently allows people in corporate settings to play audio – yep, it will get behind the firewall) to increase subscribers and get more people interested in your Podcasting content.
I then hopped over to moderate a panel discussion called, Should Your Company Be Podcasting?, which featured Luke Armour from Observations From Public Relations, Terry Fallis of Thornley Fallis and Inside PR Podcast, Michael Seaton from Scotiabank and The Client Side Blog-Podcast and Donna Papacosta from Trafcom News. The sessions at PodCamp Toronto 2007 last only thirty minutes, so I recorded our panel discussion. The session, Should Your Company Be Podcasting?, will be the bulk of the upcoming episode of Six Pixels Of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast – episode #40, which I hope will be posted later in the evening. There were some brilliant insights and great questions from the audience.
In the meantime if you want to follow some of the action, I finally found a powerful use for Twitter (which is the little blue-ish box at the bottom left navigation of this Blog). You can read the quick blasts of what’s up (and down) over there. It’s my little micro-Blog in this Blog.
Off to learn more about Trusted Economies by the awesome Julien Smith from In Over Your Head and Listen To Your Kids and one of the PodCamp founders, Chris Brogan.
