Twist Image Brings Home Two WebAwards

Posted by

If you read this Blog, you know very well that I never use this space to toot the horn of Twist Image, but now I have to. I’m just too darn proud of our team. It was announced today that we took home two WebAwards.
We were honored to get WebAwards for Outstanding Website (YMCA Kanawana – www.kanawana.com) and Best Healthcare Provider Website (Mount Sinai Hospital Montreal – www.sinaimontreal.ca).
When we started Twist Image, our sole desire was to create superior marketing and communications materials for all mediums. I don’t want this to sound too press release-like, but I am honored for our team to be recognized by a panel of our peers and very proud to be involved with such great clients like Mount Sinai and YMCA Kanawana.
The truth is, these two awards are all about the people who work at Twist Image (you can see them all here: Twist Image Team). We rarely announce client wins and the like because we enjoy keeping a low profile, but love creating a bigger profile for our clients.
I’m not announcing this for any pats on the back. I’m proud of my team and this recognition.
Here’s what the people from WebAwards have told us about the process and their organization:
“Now in its ninth year, the WebAwards is the premier annual award competition that judges website development against an ever-increasing Internet standard. This year’s competition reviewed sites in 85 industry categories. This year saw over 2,100 entries from 33 countries that were judged on several criteria, including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use. For more information on the 2005 WebAward Competition, please visit www.webaward.org.
The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate web development. Staffed by volunteers, the organization is made up of Internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals who share an interest for improving the quality of advertising, marketing and promotion used to attract visitors to corporate websites.”
Cool stuff. Go Team!
