Welcome to episode #247 of Six Pixels Of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast. This is also episode #37 of Media Hacks. It took some time to get this together and the truth is that once we could not make a couple of episodes happen, I wound up dropping the ball and not pushing for more dates to record a show. I’m thrilled we were able to make this happen and hopefully you’ll enjoy the output as well. This show was actually recorded on March 25th, 2011 but I needed to get last week’s episode published because both Ian Schafer and I were giving keynote addresses at this past week’s Media Bistro Socialize conference in New York City. This week, you get all of the usual Media Hackers with the exception of C.C. Chapman and Christopher S. Penn. Julien Smith is present so this episode is not safe for work (#earbudswarning). Enjoy the conversation…

Nice how Julien doesn’t wait 5 mins to ensure this will be not safe for children 😉
Great to see you’re back!
Children? It’s not just children. None of us are safe.
Mitch,
Great to hear the Media Hacks are back! It’s perfect that you can pick-up right away and needle Julien on the iPad2. Is that David Usher covering Asia during the close? I must admit, as a child of the 80’s, that their album spent plenty of time on my turntable. Nice cover!
Nope… that’s Asia… acoustic.
That was a solid episode! Great to see it back. Again, thanks for doing it. cheers
Good content is in the eye of the beholder. I like Gary Vee because he sold me on him..and I found his first book to be very beneficial. Even if he didn’t graduated from J School that doesn’t matter to me..what matters is that he is the product of his product and he takes the time to thank people and there is always ROI in that.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you guys went to Skype to record the podcast! It sounds so much better! Thank you Mitch for finally doing it this way!
