Welcome to episode #249 of Six Pixels Of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast. If you don’t take what you do at work very seriously, Tim Sanders has some thoughts for you. Tim is the former Chief Solutions Officer at Yahoo! and later their Leadership Coach. Since he left Yahoo!, Sanders has been on a journey to become a modern day Napolean Hill or Dale Carnegie. Through the digital channels, speaking and his three best-selling business books (Love Is The Killer App, The Likeability Factor and Saving The World At Work), Sanders is on a mission to make every person – everyday – really think about their purpose and what they’re bringing not only to their work, but to the world. HIs newly published book, Today We Are Rich, is meant to foster and develop complete confidence in everything that you do. It’s a powerful read and it was a pleasure to catch up with Tim again. If you need a push, this is for you. Enjoy the conversation…

Excellent !! and Mitch, I agree.. listen with a notebook nearby. You both not only provided awesome insight, but the resources you cited were numerous. I’m about 80% of the way into your book and adding Tim’s to my list of must reads.
Enjoyed the podcast thoroughly. Your interviews are always thought-provoking with interesting individuals. Tim Sanders purpose-driven ideas are refreshing, challenging each of us to re-think our purpose. Once again I will be buying the book.
That was the best podcast I think I’ve ever heard, really. I’m hooked, thanks Mitch.
Thank you Mitch for this wonderful podcast. I am overjoyed and depressed at the same time. I have never read or seen Tim Sanders and his ideas are brilliant. Then, to hear him speak of his approach to work was even more exciting. I’m so happy to discover him and I feel like an idiot for not knowing him sooner. I’ll be spending Easter weekend reading at least one new book. Thank you so much for bringing him on.

Mitch, I want to thank you very much for introducing me to Tim Sanders. Wow! I can’t believe I have not taken a deeper look to his work in the past. Anyway, your conversation with him really got me intrigued about his new book. I bought it as soon as the podcast was over and …. it is outstanding. I have started to implement a lot of his advice and I am very satisfied with the changes.
Once again, thank you for your outstanding work! You are making a big difference.
Mitch,
Brilliant podcast. There were so many truisms and takeaways. I was scribbling and listening all at the same time.
As for me, I read a book a week and I truly enjoy that discipline but I find I want to discuss what I am reading…so maybe….food for thought (online book club)
Thank you again for bring us quality information..you are a quality (confident-purposeful) man.
Happy Holidays
Thanks.
Lolly
This is one of my fav interviews on the SPOS podcast. Tim’s also one of my favorite authors. I love how dedicated to reading he is, it really gave me something to shoot for to improve my own media consumption. And Mitch, last year and this year my goal is a book a week as well, inspired by you. (Last year I read 46, not bad!)
Can’t wait for Tim’s next book.
