Episode #181 of Six Pixels of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast is now live and ready for you to listen to.
If there is one name that comes immediately to mind when people think of "marketing", it is Seth Godin. Beyond being a best-selling business book author (Permission Marketing, Purple Cow, The Dip, Tribes, etc…), one of the top business Bloggers in the world and one of the most in-demand public speakers, Godin is also the owner of one of the Top 100 websites in the world,Squidoo, and he even has his own action figure (that’s no joke). He is about to release his latest book titled, Linchpin – Are You Indispensable? (in late January 2010), and he is the brains behind an excellent new/about-to-be-released e-book titled, What Matters Now (which I contributed to). He’s been on the Podcast many times in the past, and is always one of the most insightful people I know. Enjoy the conversation…

I’ve been listening in on your podcast. Luckily I could hear quite clear what Mr. Godin said. It was by the way, very difficult to hear the questions asked by Mr. Joel, partly because a lot of echo and partly because he spoke too fast.
All in all the podcast was quite interesting, and, Mr. Godin, I’m writing a manifesto (and then a book) in Norwegian about Word of Mouth, and I’m not going to stop doing it before I’m finished.
Best regards,
Roy Dahl
Thanks for the feedback Roy. As you’ll note in the shownotes of this Podcast I did say that I had some technical difficulties with my mic. I think the cable came loose as this was recorded over Skpe, so I think my side of the conversation was being picked up (sadly) by the external mic of the laptop.
Apologies.
