Every other year, I make sure to take a re-read through the book, Tao of Jeet Kune Do, by Bruce Lee. Lee is part philosopher, part innovator and all intensity. This little documentary that I came across (hat-tip Tony Blauer) has some great interview segments where one could simply swap out the words "martial arts" and replace them with "marketing" or "social media." What will it take to move Marketing forward? Asking questions, like the ones Lee had of the martial arts back then, might well provide us with some answers…

Bruce Lee was a revolutionist. In martial arts invented a free research, a mentality of honestly. We can use the same attitude in many areas.
I like the part about ‘stripping away the flashy non-esentials,’ but how do we discern these things in marketing?
i don’t think there is a bruce lee right now…will an Ed Lee do?
