If that wasn’t enough the four of us attempt to discuss the value of Google Wave (only C.C. has actually used it). Actually regarding the discussion of literacy, you might need to step a bit out of the box and try to realize that one side effect of the internet is that english is becoming even more dominant and its affecting the literacy in other languages.
Wave on the other is very exciting and hopefully will be a game changer ! here are my thoughts about it.
You’re discussion about literacy was totally one sided. You can’t really start to parse literacy until you address issues of basic learning needs of kids and broadband penetration. I did like how you always play devil’s advocate, but you should bring in some teachers or something to really flush out the literacy debate. It’s hard to look at this issue by only looking at the experience of a few well educated and well read new media marketers.
I could give you 4 or 5 good suggestions of blogger or podcasters if you are interested. If that doesn’t work with you and the hacks I’d love to send you some links.
