MS Lives Here

I just wanted to mention three unique individuals who received the MS Young Leadership 2005 Award this past Wednesday.
As a member of the selection committee this year (and a winner of this prestigious award last year), I had the honor of nominating young professionals in Quebec whose professional and social achievements have contributed to the growth of their businesses and the development of Quebec society. I am thankful that The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada recognized Danny Baum (RBC Dominion Securities – The Quallenberg Group), Suzannah Baum (Aeroplan) and Sass Peress (ICP Solar).
There were nearly 40 award-winners in all and the event was very special. The Honorary Chair was Jonathan Wener of Canderel and the President of the event was Robert Gervais of Pre2Post Technologies.
MS is a scary one. Canadians have one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis in the world, it is the most common neurological disease affecting young adults in Canada, and every day three more people in Canada are diagnosed with MS.
