I’m more than a little angry at myself for not posting this sooner. The people over at Common Craft have done an excellent job explaining the power of RSS and subscribing to content in this video titled, RSS In Plain English:

Seriously, you need to pass this around your office, to your clients, colleagues, family and friends.
I still think the word” RSS” freaks people out, and when you say “subscribe,” people are thinking there might be a cost or a need to give out personal information. We need to get everyone on the same page and I believe a video like RSS In Plain English, can help us get there faster.
