The winner of The Financial Times Business Book Of The Year awards was announced last night and the winner is The World Is Flat by Thomas Friedman. Friedman wins some coin along with the prestige. Unfortunately, he was not able to be there live in person but sent along a video acceptance speech.
The Financial Times has a great article published today: Books To Change The Way You Do Business by Andrew Hill that covers the business book awards ceremony which took place last night in London. The article also talks to other business book authors and gets their take on what managers can learn from them as well as what they consider to be the best business book. Thomas Friedman shoots out major props to Dan Pink by choosing A Whole New Mind as his favorite business book.
