The Economist Tackles The Internet

Go grab yourself a copy of The Economist. It’s the April 2nd – 8th, 2005 edition and the cover story is, Power At Last – How the Internet means the consumer really is King (and Queen).
It’s a powerful and insightful 14-page report that, considering what the American economy went through, is a testament to the mediums explosive growth and weight. While the article validates the need to understand the online medium it also prevails in letting the Big Boys know that a website is not about what they want to put on it. A website is about what your customers want. If they can’t get that from you they will get it from someone else… and Blog about you until death… and sometimes beyond.
