I promised myself I would do as little self-promotion on this Blog as possible, but this news is just too big and too important to not share with this community. Earlier tonight at the Canadian Marketing Association Annual Awards, our company, Twist Image, took home the first-ever Digital Innovation Award for "setting new standards." It was an absolute shock and surprise. I know everyone who wins an award says this, but in this instance it is very true.
This is a brand new award that, according to the Canadian Marketing Association: "recognizes an outstanding body of work in the interactive marketing space, rather than a series of awards for individual campaigns. Twist Image was honoured for their work with clients like TELUS, Scotiabank, Bombardier and Unilever/AXE."
Twist Image had submitted many entries for individual campaigns for the Canadian Marketing Association’s Annual Awards, but took home this comprehensive award on behalf of all of our clients this year.
We’re very thankful to the Canadian Marketing Association for creating this award and bestowing the honour to us for its inauguration. The reality is that without our clients who give us the chance – everyday – to try new things and play in this new marketing landscape, there is no Twist Image. It’s really all about helping our clients create awesome online and digital experiences by empowering their consumers to engage in the many online conversations that are taking place.
I’d also like to thank the entire Twist Image team. I work with about fifty of the coolest and smartest minds in Digital Marketing, and as much as you see my name on this Blog, over at the Six Pixels of Separation Podcast, in the media, and on the stage speaking, my true work is at Twist Image – working with the team on developing and executing Digital Marketing environments for our clients and their consumers. So, a big thank you everyone at Twist Image HQ who really make this all possible.
I could go on and on but they are playing the music for the credits.
Now, I have to figure out how to set-up a Social Media press release.
