You Light Up My Night

You did it… thank you!

Last week, I ask you to help me out. You can read the full story right here: A Little Help From My Friends… So Please Help! My goal was to raise $5000 for the Light The Night Walk. The walk is done to help raise funds and awareness for leukemia and other blood cancers. Well, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Together, this Six Pixels of Separation community raised over $17,000!

Wow! Because of you, our team (Leah’s Helpers) was able to raise over $50,000 this year. Over the years, we’ve raised close to $400,000! Amazing. The walk took place last night in Montreal. We had a supermoon that guided the way through a very emotional and powerful walk. Seeing the names of people I know who did not make it through – like Leah did – always makes me appreciate the kindness of others, and how lucky we all are to have our health.

I really can’t thank you enough.

It’s not too late. If you would still like to contribute, please do so here: Light The Night Walk.

Also, as part of my fundraising efforts, I offered up some prizes. Here are the winners…

  • Prize #1: Whoever donates the most money gets me for a one-hour get together. It can be via Skype, phone or in-person (meaning, if you’re in Montreal or if I happen to be travelling to wherever it is that you live). It will be a social meeting, but you can feel free to ask me anything. Lunch is on me. I’ll also include a signed copy of Six Pixels of Separation and CTRL ALT Delete. The winner of this is: LinkNow Media (they donated $2758! Thank you!).
  • Prize #2: Whoever comes in next will get a signed copy of Six Pixels of Separation and CTRL ALT Delete, plus a business book bundle that I will, personally, curate. The winner of this is: Barry Pascal.
  • Prize #3: I will also do a random draw and give away three pairs of  ”special” tickets to The Art Of… event of your choice. This is just the tickets, so you will have to handle travel, accommodations, etc… The winners of this are: Benjamin Yoskovitz, Marc Cooper and Denise Herman.
Many thanks to everyone who helped out! Hoping to see you all soon, so that I can thank you in person!
