Joel,
I’m just not into the whole “Six Pounds of Sound” title. It just sounds so… heavy. Deliberate. Cumbersome. Something big and annoying. Now, I’m getting that Pounds rhymes with Sound, but none of your other “6 things of something” titles rhyme, so why should this one?
Also, I know you like Rock. Gotta have a little back-beat in your tunes. I digg it. And nothing says Rock & Roll like a classic guitar riff. So, how about something like this?
>> Six Strings of Rock <<
If nothing else, throw it out to your community. I’m sure someone would LOVE to do me one better.
Just a thought.
Gonna get some sleep.
Keep up the great work.
Six Pounds of Sound. Sheesh. (walking away… slowly… shaking my head)
I thought we did put it to the community…
In the end, the music is at the end for a reason. If you like it – it’s there for you. If you don’t – don’t listen.
That’s really why I love Podcasting 🙂
Yep. You did put it to the community a couple of shows back. I guess I should have chimed in then. I guess I just assumed that someone else would pipe in before this last show came out.
By the way, its not the music I was reacting to, it was just the name since it wasn’t resonating with me. Not sure mine it much better, though. So, what I meant when I said to put it to the community was to do it again. This time you can tell them that you have another submission. Now that someone else has thrown their hat into the ring, maybe others will follow suit.
I ALWAYS listen to the end. 😉
